Save Money on Beer, Wine, and Liquor
UPDATE: See an updated version of this article: 5 Ways to Save Money on Alcohol.
Did you know you could save money on beer, wine, and liquor? There are a few ways to get cash back on your beer, wine, and liquor purchases. Nowadays there seem to be coupons, rebates and cashback offers for everything, so why not beer, wine, & liquor?
While I was at the liquor store buying wine a couple of weeks ago, I noticed advertisements for a new app called BevRAGE (no longer available see more ways to save below and in the linked article) which said I could save money on my purchases. Of course, as soon as I left the store I downloaded it immediately because I love anything that saves me money.
What’s cool about this app is that you can get CASH BACK when you buy Beer, Wine & Liquor, both in stores and at restaurants & bars!
How cool is that? Since drinks always seem to cost the most when your bill arrives, this is going to save you a bunch of money when you go out to eat or to have drinks with friends. Since using this app, I already cashed out over $12, and it took just seconds to upload my receipts.
So how do you get the app? Follow the steps below:
- Download the BevRAGE App here and use referral code: MCGENTMF to let them know I sent you (greatly appreciated).
- Browse the offers in your location, upload your receipt by taking a photo and get cash back!

Well, some of my favorite coupon apps also allow you to save money and get rebates and cashback on your liquor store purchases. The best part is if the offer is in more than one app you can submit for all!
Ibotta is free, and you can save on everything from groceries & clothing to liquor, beer, and wine now.
Checkout51 is another app that gives you cash back on your purchases including beer, wine, & liquor!
Another way to save on these purchases is to look for hangtags on the bottles at the store. Often there will be a hangtag rebate for wine and more so be on the lookout. Wine, Liquor, and Beer mail-in rebates are more work but if you spend the few minutes to do them you can save a lot of money on your purchase.
