Turn Your Receipts Into Money
Do you have a wallet full of receipts like I do? Did you know your receipts can be worth money? Yes, they are not just a waste of paper anymore, you can turn them into money, and I am going to show you how. These are all things that I do myself. I have tried and tested all of these methods myself and I have cashed out money with each of them.
Find&Save– Find&Save is an app available for iPhone or Android, and it lets shoppers browse all the sales in their area, all in one place. BUT that is not the best part! They have a “Cash Dash” feature that allows you to get cash back when you shop. The Cash Dash offers are always changing. You will want to setup notifications after downloading the app and keep checking the app for new Cash Dash offers. I have cashed out $37 so far and have $15.98 pending (you can cash out when you reach $25 to Paypal).
How to get started:
- Download Find&Save. Please use my code: CRJD when you first open the app so that they know I sent you! After signing up, you can also send friends and get a bonus when they sign up.
- After downloading and signing in, you will be able to view any Cash Dash offers in your area as well as add your favorite stores and more.
- Once you add what Cash Dash offers you are going to do just take a picture of your receipt in the app, and that’s it! Your cash will be deposited into your account as soon as the receipt is approved.
iBotta– I love iBotta so much I wrote a full post about it here: How I Save Money with IBotta and How You Can too. It is another great way to earn extra money with your receipts by unlocking Rebates before you shop and then uploading your receipts after. Super simple and only takes a few minutes.
Shopmium-Another great app and a freebie right away. All you have to do is buy products that have offers in the app. Take a picture of your receipt through the app and receive your rebate straight to your PayPal or bank account right away! That is it! Plus you can get a free Lindt Chocolate bar using my referral code: HFEAACPH
ShopKick– You may have heard about Shopkick to get points when visiting stores and scanning items, but they have added a new feature called KickBates. Find KickBate items at participating stores. Look for the receipt icon and pink flags on the scans list in the ShopKick App. Buy KickBate items at qualifying stores and submit your receipt!
Earn Kicks for every KickBate item you purchase and redeem your Kicks for gift cards! You can read more about ShopKick and all of its features in my post: Earn Money Walking Around the Mall.
Checkout51-Every Thursday morning, Checkout 51 updates with a new list of offers. All you have to do is pick the ones you like, purchase them at any store, and upload a photo of your receipt through their mobile app or website. When your account reaches $20.00, they send you a check.
Kellogg’s Rewards– I have been a member of Kellogg’s Rewards for a long time but never really liked having to enter codes all the time. They have now improved their rewards program and you now just need to upload your receipt or link up your loyalty card, so it is so much easier! I have earned almost 1000 points already, and I didn’t have to enter any codes.
Huggies Rewards– Huggies Rewards is now following in the footsteps of Kelloggs and will be changing their reward program from entering manual codes to uploading receipts! I cannot wait; the new program will begin sometime in June 2016.
Fetch Rewards– It’s a new app that turns your grocery receipts into rewards. Save on over 180 brands EVERY time they’re on your receipt, with over $10 in bonus points available, and rotating exclusive special offers. And all you do is scan your grocery receipt. Use My Referral Code: BM2BY, during signup and you’ll get 1,500 Fetch Points ($1.50 in points!) when you complete one receipt.
ReceiptHog– Receipt Hog is a fun and rewarding way to turn receipts from everyday shopping into cash – no matter where you shop or what you buy. I have not tried this app yet because there is a waiting list and I am still on it. I thought it was worth mentioning because depending on your demographics you may be able to get in.
