How I Earn Free Gift Cards Every Month
This post is part of The Free Stuff Series: How to get Free Stuff You Actually Want!
I don’t know about you, but I hate to spend my hard earned money on any of my “wants” and if I am honest, even some of my “needs.” Because of this, I had to come up with a way to be able to buy things I wanted and to save money on things that I needed without having to take it out of my budget.
If you follow my blog you know that I am always looking for ways to get things free or really cheap so I was able to come up with a strategy to get free gift cards to places I shop often. Gift cards to places like Amazon, Starbucks, Target and more.
I was able to do this by joining a bunch of different free reward programs that reward me with gift cards for doing simple and easy tasks. I then turn around and use those gift cards to get things I want or need for free! One of my favorite types of gift cards I like to earn are Amazon gift cards because well, Amazon has everything!
If you haven’t checked out my post 7 Ways to Save at Amazon.com, you will want to check that out too after reading this of course.
Now let’s get to the exciting part and learn how I earn free gift cards each and every month and how you can too!
Here are My Favorite Ways to Earn Free Gift Cards Each Month
Swagbucks is a popular rewards program that gives you free gift cards and cash for the everyday things you already do online. You can earn points when you shop at your favorite retailers, watch entertaining videos, search the web, answer surveys and find great deals. You can redeem points for gift cards to your favorite retailers like Amazon and Walmart or get cash back from Paypal. Swagbucks has already paid out over $120 million in cash and free gift cards.
Take surveys right on your phone and get rewarded. Use my code: KARI2 and get 350 points towards your first reward. Bizrate Reward members receive points for completing surveys and other activities! You may earn anywhere from 50-1,000 points per activity; activities are invite only. After receiving 5,000+ points, you can redeem them for egift cards.
Bing Rewards lets you earn credits for searching on Bing or trying new features from Bing or other Microsoft products and services. Bing Rewards credits can be redeemed for a variety of gift cards and other rewards. Instead of using Google, just start using Bing search, and you will start earning credits super fast.
Discover Card is a credit card, but I use it mainly to get rewards that I can cash into gift cards ( or apply towards my bill). I use my Discover card to pay my phone bill and for everyday purchases as well and then I pay it before the due date to avoid any finance charges. Each quarter they give you 5% cashback rewards in certain categories and 1% in others. If you choose to get a gift card you can get a deal because you only need $20 cash back for a $25 gift card or $45 for a $50 gift card etc. in certain categories.
PLUS Become a Discover Cardmember now, and you’ll get a $50 Cashback Bonus with your first purchase within 3 months! Set up autopay on your bills, pay for gas and purchases and then pay your card before the due date and you’re earning free rewards on money you would spend anyway!
Shopkick is a free app that rewards you with points that you can turn into gift cards simply by walking into stores and more for doing other activities like scanning certain products while you are in the store. You can find out more about ShopKick by reading my blog post about how to earn money walking around the mall.
I get free Amazon Giftcards every month from Dealspotr and you can too. It is super easy to do. Dealspotr is a community of deal seekers sharing and voting on deals and a great place to go to find a coupon code or deal before you shop online or off. But besides using Dealspotr to find deals and coupons, you can use it to earn Amazon gift cards just by being helpful in the community.
There are so many ways to earn points that you can turn into Amazon gift cards. You earn points for sharing deals, spotting (curating) deals, flagging invalid deals, referring new members, making helpful comments, and many other actions.
I have redeemed over $115 in Amazon gift cards so far, and as a Dealspotr Ambassador, I can gift you 5000 points toward your first $10 Amazon gift card, a $10 Amazon Gift Card is just 10,000 points so you will be half way there just using my referral link here. Below is a screenshot from my account.
