Have you tried these money-saving Chrome browser extensions?
You’ve probably been there, your shopping online about to check out and then realize oh wait, maybe there’s a coupon code to make this cheaper? So you open up another browser tab and start searching for a coupon code.
If you’re lucky, you find one within a few minutes but then you still have to copy the coupon code and go back to your other browser tab and paste it in.
Or maybe you’ve already checked out, and then you realized there may have been a coupon for that purchase! Nothing is worse than knowing you could have saved money.
Even if you consider yourself a savvy shopper and you always search for coupon codes and go through cashback sites before you shop, wouldn’t it be great to shop online and not have to start at one website and copy and paste coupon codes in each time you shop?
Well, now you don’t have too. Many coupon and cashback websites are now creating Chrome browser extensions.
What are these Chrome browser extensions?
These money saving Chrome extensions will sit right in your browser and let you know when savings are available. They are super simple to install and only take a minute.
You can get cash back and save money instantly without having to leave the website you’re on. Oh, and they’re free and some even give you a bonus for signing up ($10 usually).
Below is a list of five of my favorites. Give them a try and see which one you like best.
CHROME BROWSER EXTENSIONS THAT SAVE YOU MONEY

The SwagButton is a brand new Chrome extension from Swagbucks. Swagbucks is a site that lets you earn FREE gift cards for taking surveys, watching videos, shopping online and so much more. It’s free to join and you can get a $10 bonus!
With the SwagButton you can find out right away if the website you’re visiting offers Swagbucks (SB) for shopping. You can also activate Swagbucks Shop & Earn opportunities with the click of a button, right from the store’s or brand’s website.

Rakuten (formerly Ebates) is by far one of my favorite cashback programs. Check out my full Rakuten review.

When you download the Rakuten Chrome Browser extension you will automatically see cashback alerts when shopping in your Chrome browser, compare store cash back amounts when searching, and save even more money with the Rakuten coupon code finder.
It’s a great way to never forget to go through Rakuten before you shop! Definitely a money saver and money maker.
I’ve made over $804 with Rakuten so far and I don’t shop that much. Sign up here.
Now, this next one will save you money by stopping you from impulse buying! When I found this I thought it was very unique and worth adding to the list. Sometimes we just need to be stopped from making a purchase.
5. Earny
Earny is a really cool free money-saving browser extension that gives you up to 20% back on your purchases plus so much more.
Not only can you get cashback but Earny will also track price history and give you real-time alerts when a price goes lower.
What I love about Earny is that you also get price protection which will help you get a refund if there’s a price drop on something you already bought! How cool is that?
