Luma Comfort AP400W Review
I was very excited to get the chance to review the Luma Comfort AP400W. I have been looking for a good air purifier for my bedroom for some time and I wanted something that would clean the air of everything bad!
If you’re an allergy or asthma sufferer, the Luma Comfort AP400W could be your choice for serious contaminant removal. This air purifier offers high-efficiency air filtration, a comprehensive 5-stage purification system and this model covers 400 square feet. It removes particulates as well as chemicals and VOCs.
It was super easy to put together! I basically took it out of the box read the instruction booklet and put the filters inside in the correct order and it was done.
It has a very easy to use interface.
The AP400W is equipped with a carbon pre-filter, HEPA filter, VOC filter, TiO2 filter and UV light to remove over 99% of indoor pollutants such as dust, pollen, animal dander, odors, mold, bacteria and viruses! Additional features include a SmartClean indicator that lets you know when each filter needs to be replaced as well as a programmable timer.
- HEPA filter traps more than 99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns
- Carbon filter deodorizes the air and traps large particles
- VOC filter absorbs harmful airborne chemicals like those found in paint, carpet, solvents and more
- TiO2 Filter works with the UV light source to destroy harmful bacteria and gases
My Review:
I really like the look of it, its very sleek and modern looking and blends right in. I leave it on the low setting as that’s the best setting for sleeping. The medium and high settings are a little loud for night time. The UV light is actually just the right amount of light for sleeping as well as I like my room very dark with just a little light to see where I am going. You can also turn off the UV light as well if you prefer.
FRESH! I was wondering when reviewing if I was going to be able to tell if it was really working and I can! I LOVE the smell of the fresh clean air upon entering my bedroom. It is so fresh and clean and definitely makes me feel much better. I started developing allergies in the last few years and this seems to help as I haven’t had any issues this season so far. I also worry about mold, bacteria, and viruses and just knowing that I am sleeping in a nice clean air room is very refreshing.
I would definitely recommend the Luma Air Purifier to someone looking for a very high quality air purifier especially someone with allergies.
The only downside is that it is over $200 and the filters will need to be changed about every six months or so but if you are looking for a high quality product this is definitely one.
