Is FeaturePoints Legit? When I first heard of FeaturePoints I didn’t even think twice I wasn’t going to use it and that was that. I didn’t want to download a bunch of apps on my phone only to slow my phone down and possibly cause issues. Honestly, I just thought maybe FeaturePoints was a scam.
Is FeaturePoints a Scam?
About six months after first hearing about it, I was having a conversation about Starbucks and how expensive it is, my friend mentioned how she was using FeaturePoints to cash in on free Starbucks gift cards and was using those to get free Starbucks for her and her family. She had cashed out multiple times for a few different free gift cards and never had any issues with her iPhone. It was then that I decided to try it out, after all, I could always stop using it if I didn’t like it.
I had her send me her referral link so that she could earn extra points from me and so that I could earn bonus points from her (more on that later). I signed up and in a few days and in not much time at all I had already earned enough for a $3 Amazon gift card or $3 Paypal. In a week I had enough for my $5 Starbucks! There are many other options as well like free paid apps and more that you can choose from but these are the options I prefer.
Now obviously this is not life changing money in the least but for very little effort and something that can be done while in a waiting room, on your commute to work or pretty much anytime you have nothing else to do I think it’s worth it in my opinion. I see people play games all the time on their phone so downloading a free app and using it for two minutes to get free money and gift cards seems like something most people wouldn’t mind doing. Plus you may discover some really cool apps using FeaturePoints. So it’s a win-win, and you can just delete the app afterward if you don’t like it.
Tips for using FeaturePoints
I recommend using FeaturePoints when you are on Wifi unless you have unlimited data and also stick to the apps that don’t require any sign ups or accounts (unless you want to use them in the future). I like free games because they are easy to download and use for at least two minutes, and also apps like Wishlist, LetGo, Amazon, etc. as those are apps you can quickly browse for two minutes without any effort. These are just examples of apps I have downloaded and used.
I also recommend only keeping apps you are going to use because you don’t want your phone packed with apps you are never going to open. Having issues getting points? Try again, sometimes you may have to open an app twice and use it but most times I get the points right away. Apps that didn’t give you points will show under pending so that you will know. You can also report bad links or problems to the FeaturePoints team. I had to report a bad link (brought me to a different app than the one listed) and it was fixed the next day!
