WHERE TO FIND FREE PARTY PRINTABLES
Search Pinterest for Free Party Printables and Inspiration!
If you’re not already searching Pinterest for party decorating inspiration then you’re going to be in for a surprise.
Pinterest is by far one of the best search engines to look for party decor inspiration and ideas as well as free party printables you can use for your party.
You can find birthday party printables, baby shower printables, wedding printables, and so much more.
Just pull up Pinterest.com or the Pinterest App and do a search for what you want. While you’re there be sure follow me for more great money-saving tips and freebies.
MONEY SAVING HACK: Check out my blog post on how I print for free and save even more money!
In the screenshot below I did a search for Frozen birthday party free printables and I was able to come up with a whole bunch of free printables and a bunch of Frozen theme inspiration!
The best way to use Pinterest is to create a board where you will save all your inspiration too.
For example, if it’s your son’s birthday create a board called “Evan’s (replace with your son’s name) Birthday” for instance.
Then save everything you like to that board so you can easily come back to it later and so you won’t lose it.
Note: Some paid printables will get in the mix as well as websites no longer in service or ones you may need to sign up for but for the most part you shouldn’t have an issue finding free printables for your party on Pinterest.
Check the Catch My Party Website
Catchmyparty.com is one of my favorite resources for ideas and free party printables.
The site has been around for years and has legit easy to download free party printables available for tons of party themes.
I found a whole bunch of great printables for a baby shark themed birthday but they have a TON of themes and free printables for you to browse through.
Check out what I was able to make using just a few of the free baby shark printables available at Catch My Party here.
Google Free Printable Party Decorations
If you can’t find what you want on Pinterest or at Catch My Party or just want to see what else is available then Google it!
I mean we pretty much Google everything else right? Do a quick search on Google for your party theme and you should get a bunch of results.
Most of the time Google will send you to Pinterest or Catch My Party as well because they’re the most popular places to get free party decor and ideas.

CREATING PRINTABLE PARTY DECORATIONS
Use Canva
While there are tons of free printable decorations out there, it’s not as easy to find personalized party decorations free online so you may just have to make them.
But don’t worry, it’s super easy to DIY free party decorations using a free tool like Canva.
Canva is my favorite tool to create beautiful and personalized party printables, invitations, cards and more.
There’s a small learning curve for Canva but you can get the hang of it pretty easily.
I was able to create letters using the letter-size template and using the free letter elements available.
Canva allows you to choose colors or pick custom colors so play around and see what you like. There are so many possibilities.
Canva also has a ton of free templates.
Just look on the menu under create a design and choose templates. Then search the templates for what you want.
You can create printable birthday party invitations using their ready-made templates as seen below.
They even have templates for birthday cards, thank you cards and many many more.
Canva does offer a premium version so some items are only available in the premium version (premium features are marked with a $$ symbol usually) but I’ve been able to make tons of images and graphics with the free version so that shouldn’t be an issue.
If you really want to get savvy using Canva you can take a course on Udemy.com.
As you can see there are endless free possibilities when it comes to creating your own free party decorations.
Try all of the things I mentioned above and you’ll be on your way to saving a ton of money on your next party.
If you’re looking to find even more affordable ways to decorate your party besides free printables, I suggest checking Dollar Tree and Amazon.
Dollar Tree can be a hit or miss locally but you can now order online to deliver to your home or to the store! You can see what they have here.
Amazon also has great deals on party decor especially backdrops and character balloons.
