How to Earn Money Using Your Fitbit
Did you know that you could earn money using your Fitbit? One of my favorite purchases I have made as a couponer is the FitBit Flex. Not only is it a great way to track your fitness and sleep using a 3D motion sensor but it can also make you money. I bought the Fitbit Flex Wristband in Slate about a year ago after doing some research and finding out that you could hook it up to Shop Your Way Rewards account and your Walgreens Balance Rewards account and earn money! How? Keep reading and I will walk you through setting up your Fitbit to earn you money. If you have any questions, just comment on this post, and I’ll be happy to answer them.
Earn Walgreens Balance Reward Points from your Fitbit
If you shop at Walgreens, you should have a Walgreens Balance Rewards card if not you can easily get one it is free!
Once you have one, log into your Balance Reward account at Walgreens.com. Go to your dashboard and choose Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices. Click on Health Apps & Devices from the menu, then click the Devices tab and find your Fitbit. Click “Get it” and then a pop-up box will come up where you can choose the option to “CONNECT” the Fitbit. Once connected you will be all set to start earning Walgreens Balance Reward Points just for being healthy! Be sure also to set goals and do other healthy activities and log them into your Walgreens account to earn even more points.
Earn Money with AchieveMint from your Fitbit
I am new to AchieveMint because there was a waiting list and I just got off it but I am already earning points towards my first $10 reward! If you are new to AchieveMint, it is a free program and App that you can sign up for at http://www.achievemint.com and it allows you to connect your Fitbit tracker to earn points which can be cashed out later for a $10 reward!
Earn Shop Your Way Points from your Fitbit
UPDATE: Their program is going through some changes so it may look different now, I will update the post once they finish revising the Shop Your Way Reward portion of the program. BUT keep reading to find out more about earning money from your Fitbit other ways below.
1. Sign up for a FREE Shop Your Way Rewards account here by choosing “Become My Client”, that just adds me as your personal shopper so that I can send you coupons! It’s an entirely free service from Shop Your Way Rewards. BONUS: If you sign up as my client I invite you to a private Facebook group I created for Shop Your Way Rewards deals. I post deals I find that reward you with additional Shop Your Way Rewards. You can find the private group here, click “join group,” and once I confirm you are a client I will accept you into the group. This is a free service from me to thank you for allowing me to be your free personal shopper.
2. Buy a FitBit (If you don’t already have one)! It comes in a few different versions (wristband etc) so choose the one that’s best for you. You can get one at Target, Kohl’s and Wal-Mart.
3. Register at Sears FitStudio.com, You will want to register with Fitstudio using your Shop Your Way Rewards Information so make sure you use the same email address and password when registering here as you did for Shop Your Way Rewards.
4. Start earning points automatically! The above graphic shows you a few ways you can earn points each week. 2000 Points = $2 so it adds up quickly. Use your Shop Your Way Reward points to shop at Sears or Kmart. If you do not have a SEARS or KMART in your area do not worry, you can shop online too with your points.
I have personally already earned enough points to cover the cost of my Fitbit and then some. It’s a no brainer and a perfect gift for the money saver or fitness fanatic. Do you have a Fitbit? Know someone who does? Share this post with them by using the share buttons below and above this post, thank you! Oh and if you liked this post you may also like Earn Money Walking Around the Mall.
I need to look into this for Walgreens. I just got a Fitbit.
I will have that post up for tomorrow so keep an eye out!
I don’t have a fitbit, but I have been considering getting one 😉
It’s worth it! Especially because it will pay for itself in no time. I am going to be posting on how to hook it up to your Walgreens account as well plus more.
Okay and this is the reason I love bloggers and blogging. You guys rock!
Thanks!
Any way that I can make money is a plus in my eyes!
Interesting. I need a new fitbit, I think. My old one broke.
I love all the information my Fitbit gives. Did not know you could use it for this. Thank you.
I want a fitbit or some other fitness (and sleep tracker) but this almost sounds like taking personal information too far.
According to the Fitbit Privacy Policy they do not sell any user data but I am not a lawyer so :-). Keep in mind you only have to provide them with whatever you put on the site, no personal information (besides name and email). You don’t even have to add any health information either to take advantage of this savings unless you want to add weight to add some weight loss goals. I only use mine to monitor my steps and set goals for how many steps I take, similar to what a pedometer does. If I am missing something I would love to know 🙂
Interesting concept! This is the first time I’ve heard of fit bit and I love it already!
This is the first time I am hearing of this as well. Sounds very interesting.
This is the first time that i heard it and it sounds interesting for me.

I want a fitbit so much. And making money would be even better!!
Yes definitely a plus. I already made way over what I paid for my fitbit so it’s a great purchase.
I’ve always wanted one. And now that I know I can earn from it, I really need to get one.
Such a wonderful program. Be healthy and earn money!
Interesting! I had no idea that you could do this with a FitBit, it makes me want one even more 🙂
we can all use a bit of money and buying something that sounds great for us is the way to earn money how great is that
I’ve never heard of this before, thanks for the information!
Nice. I have been looking into a fit bit. This alone is a reason to get one.
Yes, it is so worth it for so many reasons. Thanks for stopping by Esavingsblog!
When I click the fitstudio.com it takes me to sears? How do I join?
Thanks for leaving a comment, It appears they have changed their program a bit since I wrote the post, I found this information on their FACEBOOK Page:
“The old FitStudio site has shut down. However, we recently launched a new site, where you can track your activity. In a few weeks, we’ll add a rewards component to that experience. Feel free to click “Create An Account,” connect a device or app, and join us. Stay tuned for news on how to earn rewards! https://www.searsfitstudio.com/”
I will have to update the post to reflect this! Hopefully, it doesn’t change the points we earn!
Will you please consider letting me post this? Much appreciated! Would you like to dress up your Fitbit and make it look great? If so, please visit our Etsy site at: TrackerStackers.etsy.com Thank you!
You have a great Etsy shop, Thanks for sharing 🙂
I can’t believe the Pact App isn’t on here, You set goals, start low and work your way up, and everyday you hit over 10,000 steps is concerned a workout. If you finish all your workout goals they pay you. If you don’t they charge you $5 per “workout” missed. After I added the veggie pact as well I’m earning over $1 a week, not a lot, but it adds up for things I’m doing anyway.
I was actually going to add it but haven’t had a chance, thanks for the reminder 🙂
