To start off the Saving Your Way Series, I am going to tell you about one of my Favorite ways to save. I have several programs I use to save but I find I use Upromise the most because of all the savings it has to offer.

Whether you are saving for a child to go to college or for a child already in college (or for yourself as I use it for my books, expenses and to pay down my student loans) Upromise is a really great program. Besides being a way to save for college, it also acts as a cash back program, coupon program and restaurant reward program all in one! Below is a screenshot of my earnings so far ( I have been a member for years)

You can cash out in many ways including a check or transfer to a High Yield Savings account (with 10% match!). I have gotten a ton of savings from this program! More on the program and how I use it to maximize my savings below! Make sure to read the full post because I really think this is one of the best ways to save if you take advantage of all the program has to offer!

Here are the details with notes by each of how I use it to save and/or what options I currently take advantage of the most.

That’s super neat, I’ll have to try it. I’ve seen the logo around, but never looked into it. Thanks!
